Porsche 930/66 engine case (R.o.W. 930 Turbo S)
BCW Porsche 930 S engine case (R.o.W.)
This engine case began life as a factory supplied 930/66 S which became available to purchase in the late 1980’s. This particular casting is from 1985. The 930/66 was one of the more powerful analog 3.3L 930 turbo engines, commonly used for racing and praised for its superior casting durability.
This is a special 930 case with BCW 935 provenance.
BCW was responsible for building 935 private chassis and slantnose conversions in the 80’s/90’s. Early on in his career, Clay Doppke raced 935’s in IMSA before he began building customer 935 street cars such as the “banana slugger”. Today you commonly hear of Kremer and Fabcar, but BCW was also a part of the 935 motorsport history we’ve all come to appreciate.
The engine case will be securely packed for standard shipping.

Porsche m96.04 Engine Case (IRON BORE)
This engine case is currently IN STOCK and ready to ship!
M96 Iron Bore engine case halves - 3.4L - 3.8L displacement
**NO CORE REQUIRED**
This original 3.4L Porsche m96/04 engine case has been fitted with iron “wet sleeves” which promise to eliminate common issues with cylinder castings and aftermarket platings. Iron is tried and true, durable enough for racing, eliminates bore scoring failure, and there’s no need to sugar coat it. Just run clean oil with the proper piston/ring set and you’ll be enjoying this engine for a lifetime of use!
CNC operations:
Machined on a HAAS cnc mill, the top portion of the original cylinder material has been removed and a register has been machined into the original casting which means the iron sleeves are centered and “seated”. There is absolutely no chance of “dropping” a sleeve. The new cylinders have been tolerance fit into the case and a special high temp silicone applied during cylinder installation. Additionally, the wrist pin access holes have been cut into bank 2 cylinders to allow for proper assembly procedure. This is ready for your build project.
Choose your own displacement:
The engine case halves REQUIRE FINAL MACHINE WORK and thorough cleaning prior to engine assembly. The case is provided to you with 95.5mm rough cylinder bores which need to be final bored and honed to the requirements of your desired engine displacement. These iron cylinders have a black chemical film coating to reduce the chances of rust or damage caused by improper coolant or water use. This black coating is meant to protect only the water jacket areas of the cylinders and will be removed from the cylinder walls and deck surface during your final machining process. When machining the m96, we suggest only lightly decking the surface of these engines due to the overall tolerance stack and design of the timing assembly.
**1 month warranty**
